Mme Dre Marianne Vulliemoz a effectué une vaste formation en médecine et en pharmacie, avant de se spécialiser en Gastroentérologie.

 

La Dre Marianne Vulliemoz (née Guirgis) est une gastroentérologue australienne qui s'est installée en Suisse avec son mari suisse en 2013. Après avoir obtenu son Bachelor en pharmacie à l'Université de Sydney (diplôme de pharmacie), la Dre Vulliemoz a effectué son Bachelor en médecine et en chirurgie (MBBS) à l'Université du Queensland (diplôme de médecin). Elle s'est formée en gastroentérologie et hépatologie dans les hôpitaux universitaires tertiaires de St George et de Liverpool à Sydney, avec admission au Royal Australian College of Physicians en 2009. La Dre Vulliemoz a travaillé en tant que médecin cadre à l'hôpital St George de 2010 à 2011 tout en finalisant un Master of Science à l'Université de New South Wales durant deux ans. Elle a ensuite réalisé à l'Université d'Oxford un fellowship clinique comme Senior Clinical Fellow en maladies inflammatoires chroniques de l'intestin de 2011 à 2012 (Oxford University Hospitals), sous la supervision du Dr Satish Keshav et du Professeur Simon Travis).

En Suisse, la Dre Vulliemoz a travaillé au CHUV, à l'hôpital de Morges puis a rejoint l'équipe du Centre Crohn et Colite de Lausanne en 2017. Elle est reconnue comme spécialiste en gastroentérologie et hépatologie en Suisse, au Royaume-Uni et en Australie. La Dre Vulliemoz est membre de la Société Suisse de Gastroentérologie, de la Gastroenterogy Association of Australia (GESA), et de la British Society of Gastroenterology. Elle est également membre de l'American Gastroenterology Association, de l'European Crohn and Colitis Organisation et de l'American Crohns Colitis Foundation.

 

Dre Marianne Vulliemoz (born Guirgis) is a native English speaking Australian gastroenterologist who moved to Switzerland with her Swiss husband in 2013. After completing her Bachelor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Sydney, Dr Vulliemoz undertook her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of surgery degree in the University of Queensland. She trained in the tertiary university hospitals of St George hospital, and Liverpool hospital in Sydney, completing her specialist training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology with admission to the Royal Australian College of Physicians in 2009. Dr Vulliemoz worked as a junior consultant (an attending gastroenterologist) at St George Hospital from 2010-2011 while concurrently undertaking her 2 year post graduate degree in Master of Science at the University of New South Wales. She subsequently undertook a 2-year clinical fellowship as a Senior Clinical Fellow in Inflammatory Bowel Disease in 2011-2012 at Oxford University Hospitals under the supervision of Dr Satish Keshav and Professor Simon Travis.

In Switzerland, Dr Vulliemoz has worked at Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV), Morges hospital and joined the team at the Crohn’s Colitis Centre Lausanne in 2017.  She is registered as a gastroenterologist in Switzerland, United Kingdom, and Australia. Dr Vulliemoz is a member of the Gastroenterology Association of Australia (GESA), British Society of Gastroenterology, Swiss Society Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterology Association, European Crohns’ Colitis Organisation, and the American Crohns Colitis Foundation.
